Student Programming Council
SPC was my very first involvement at FIU and shaped my whole experience by providing some of the first experiences and connections. For two years, I worked with a team to coordinate events averaging more than 800 attendees and developed new and innovative ideas for every semester. Through the different events I planned and people I met, this organization helped me learn about my passions and even led me to switch into the major I will be graduating from. Experiences like these are unforgettable and I'm grateful for every individual I met because of this role and organization.

Student Government Association
SGA gave me the space to not only advocate for student needs, but make changes through the people I was meeting and the knowledge that we were provided. In my different roles, I had the opportunity to represent over 60,000 FIU students in the legislative branch of the Student Government Association and write legislative resolutions to voice student concerns. Additionally, I oversaw two marketing teams, created content for social media, streamlined events for student outreach, and increased account following and engagement.

BOLD Communication Agency
Within BOLD, I was able to express my creativity and get the hands-on experience in my field that I always sought out. I served in different roles that involved managing 3 Account Executives and serving as liaison between the Executive Board and Account Executives. I also worked on the development of content calendars and communication strategies for different clients and devised new social media tactics after the COVID-19 pandemic occurred.

Peer Advisor
Collaborated with a diverse team of 40 Peer Advisors to guide and welcome more than 6,000 new students throughout a span of 50 orientations; having conversations regarding FIU traditions, academic success and progression, campus involvement opportunities, and how to be a positive, contributing member of the FIU community.

Peer Mentor
After so many incredible experiences at FIU, I wanted to share my journey and stories with incoming students. Through this role, I was able to mentor over 22 students from different backgrounds in a semester long First Year Experience class. I provided guidance for students throughout and beyond their first semester in college by informing them about classes, involvements, professors, and other university resources.

Phi Mu
Within my sorority, I was able to have a diverse group of women guide and support me; taking on different positions and growing with the lessons from members and alumni was a huge part of all that I've accomplished. I was also able to assist in recruitment of new members into the organization through planning of special events.
